“I’m not going to sleep, you cruel little wench.” But he closes his eyes when she runs her fingertips over them, and keeps them closed as she brushes circles and lines over the rest of his face. 
 
He opens them to slits a few quiet moments later, the gray hazy and tired. His arm reaches up slowly, his knuckles brushing down her cheek, the pad of his thumb just edging the corner of her mouth. It is a tender touch she didn’t expect, and though it is not arms wrapped around her or whispers of how it’s going to be okay, it is from Draco and it is enough.
